Someone just assigned a job to me but I can't see it in my job grid display.  Why ?

First, ensure that your selected layout is capable of displaying the newly assigned job.  If the assigned job is a T1 Return and your layout is only showing T4 and T5 jobs, the newly assigned job will never be displayed because it does not satisfy the requirements of the layout.

If you are confident that the proper layout has been selected, use the "Refresh" button to reload the grid with the contents of the database.  The grid display is like a snapshot of the contents of the database.  If another user assigns a job to you, your grid display will not contain this new job until you take a new snapshot.
